About UPSTECHKEY

The project is an interdisciplinary project in Geography, Maths, ICT and languages that is also going to train students’ key competences (reading, listening and writing), learning strategies and dealing with stress. The main objective of the project is to allow the participants to continue their further education successfully at a higher level and also to minimize the potential risk of future unemployment. It will all be possible thanks to acquiring the needed skills. That is why we are going to train reading and listening comprehension and successful writing as the basic key competences. Ther​e will be various workshops related to key competences, learning strategies and dealing with stress. Our objective is also to use ICT easily: we are going to improve our editing skills while making videos and presentations. In terms of Maths all the participants will learn how to work using spreadsheet and perform specific calculation related to Geography. All participants will learn how to present in public, deal with stress, work in both national and international groups but also individually. Students will improve their usage of English and other foreign languages. The language of the project is English but the project webpage will be translated into all participants’ languages so it will be all multilingual and easy to understand for many people not only in Europe but also all over the world. The project will allow students to learn in formal and non-formal way. The objective of each meeting will also be the non-formal learning how to be  tolerant and accept differences bearing in mind that each participating country has its own culture, language, customs and mentality. We are going to pay attention to the issue of integration, that is why every meeting starts with integration games that will result in further cooperation. Every meeting will be a possibility for students to deal with new situations and circumstances. It will also help in improving organisation skills.
